Using Crewdax
Find a contractor and contact the business directly.
What is Crewdax?
Crewdax is a directory of local contractors across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Choose a profession, search your location, and compare the services, coverage areas, and contact details businesses publish.
Meet the teamIs Crewdax free to use?
Yes. Customers can browse the map, read company profiles, and contact businesses without paying Crewdax. Businesses pay a subscription to publish a listing.
Which professions can I find?
The directory covers concrete, masonry, junk removal, roofing, painting, drywall, flooring, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, general contracting and remodeling, landscaping, and other local trades. A business can list more than one profession.
Browse all professionsHow do I contact a contractor?
Open the company profile and use the phone number, email, website, or contact form it provides. Your message goes to that business, which can discuss your project and reply directly.
What if no businesses appear for my search?
Try a nearby town or another profession that fits the job. Coverage depends on the businesses currently listed. A company’s stated service area can help you check whether it works at your address.
Planning your project
A few details help you compare businesses and request useful quotes.
How do I choose a contractor for my project?
Check that the business lists the work you need and covers your address. Look at its project photos and available customer feedback, then ask about experience with a similar job, current credentials, and availability.
What should I include in a quote request?
Describe the work, your location, and your preferred timing. Include useful dimensions, materials, photos if accepted, and any access restrictions. Send the same details to each business so you can compare their replies.
Does Crewdax set prices or book the work?
No. Each contractor sets its prices and schedule. Agree on the scope, materials, total price, payment schedule, and any exclusions directly with the business before work starts.
Can I find a contractor for an urgent repair?
You can contact listed businesses to ask about urgent work. A profile does not confirm real-time availability, so check directly with the contractor.
Are all listed contractors licensed and insured?
Licensing and insurance details on profiles are provided by the business. Ask for current documents relevant to your job and location. A Crewdax listing or badge is not a guarantee of qualifications or workmanship.

Yes. Select every profession your business offers. The services step shows a separate list for each selected profession, and you can add your own services within those groups.
Which services appear on my public profile?
Only the services you select or add appear, grouped by profession. You can change them from your dashboard. Removing a profession also removes its associated services from your profile.

Listings are available on monthly and annual subscriptions. The current plans, prices, and included features are shown during sign-up before you pay.
View plans during sign-upCan I update my profile after publishing?

How do reviews work on company profiles?
Businesses can submit links to public Google reviews for display on their profile. Imported reviews identify their source. The displayed selection may not include every review of the business; use the available source links to see more context.
