A-1 Concrete Cutting & Construction began in 1994 with a slab saw and a van. The family-owned Norton company has since grown into an 18-person specialist while deliberately maintaining a small-company feel. Its crews work across New England, with a particular focus on Greater Boston.

A-1 combines concrete construction with the work that surrounds it: pouring and formwork for slabs, walls, foundations, sidewalks and patios; sawing and drilling; excavation and site preparation; demolition and removal; plus grinding, polishing and sealing. Long employee tenures and customer relationships are central to the company’s story.
